download
a complete
web page, folder or site to use offline on
a computer or computer network; and
browse web material offline;
saves you
time because you do not have to wait
for slow download times as you browse a web site during
class time; and
money as you can browse the web site
repeatedly without having to go online, once the site has
been downloaded.
This is one way of downloading a series
of web pages, using WebWhacker.
Note: If you want to save just one
page off the web, use the
Save As function in your web browser. In examples
given in these tip sheets, you will download the Internet
Bio-Ed project at the University of the Western Cape, called
http://www.botany.uwc.ac.za/sci_ed/teacher/.
